Born in Seville (Spain).She graduated in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from Granada University. Trained in flamenco dance, contemporary dance, contact-improvisation and new dance in the workshops of first level teachers in Granada, Madrid, Montpellier and Rio de Janeiro. Co-producer, choreographer and dancer of the Cía. D'akipayá Dance with which she has toured France, Italy and Spain since 2008. And co-founder of the collective Enclave Granada with which she continues to collaborate as a creator to date. Her latest works have led her to participate with the choreographer Horacio Macuacua; the world of Circus as "partenaire" of Guillermo Hunter in dance and acrobatic performance or to dance and digital art in DigiFest BCN.

In 2014 she founded her own company Alba Olmedo y Cía., creating pieces such as Surcos, Paseando and Transiciones. She has been awarded the Marbella Culture Award in 2016. At present she is part of Las Poderío company in Granada and continues to investigate the body and its languages, always hand in hand with Flamenco.
